At Silk, we're proud to say our difference is in the soy beans. We start with natural whole soybeans that have not been genetically engineered.

Every delicious drop of Silk soy beverage begins with a natural soybean harvest. We grind the beans in pure filtered water. Then we remove an insoluble fiber known as okara while carefully preserving the soy protein and other components that give Silk soy beverage its powerful nutrition and one-of-a-kind great taste. We mix in vitamins, minerals and natural flavourings - plus a touch of sweetness - to produce a smooth, creamy beverage no taste bud can resist.

When it comes to using our soy beans, we do it all for the flavour - and we do it for the integrity. By using only the simplest, most straightforward processing techniques, we preserve all the goodness of soy that nature intended. Call us old fashioned, but we think it's worth it. Our Organic Commitment

As part of our commitment to the environment, we source many of our ingredients organically. Organic agriculture helps support a healthy environment by eliminating the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, chemical fertilizers and biotechnology. Canada currently has a draft organic standard expected to be finalized in 2009. We look forward to helping our consumers stay current on the latest developments in Canadian organic regulations.

Responsible Sourcing

We make every effort to choose responsibly when sourcing our ingredients. In addition to using organic soybeans and sweeteners for many of our products, we make our Silk for Coffee soy beverage with palm oil from a trusted source. Our supplier has pioneered responsible palm oil production, and is an active participant in the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
